Travel Designer India to foray into inbound tourism operations under 'Designer Indya' brand
Designer Indya will cater to source markets like Middle East and South East Asian markets and is targeting the luxury segment for inbound tourism business with a special focus on catering to FIT travellers for luxury products. It will promote Indian attractions like the Golden Triangle, luxury trains and destinations in North India and Kerala in South India. The brand Designer Indya will also host a website www.designerindya.com where visitors will be able to book packages to India and a host of other things. “Luxury products will be more or less sold offline; where as regular products will be sold on the website. Considering the situation across the globe, we have not really kept any targets though we will cater to each client possible,” explained Shah.
Furthermore, Travel Designer India which operates www.rezlive.com, an online booking portal for its B2B network of agents is now also capable of empowering other travel portals with their inventory through XML connections. Travel Designer India is open to empowering various travel portals of Indian as well as international travel companies. “We are now capable of providing our inventory for countries like Mauritius, Middle East and also South East Asian destinations to other travel portals and we are holding talks with a few other companies to do the same. Also the Indian hotel content on rezlive.com will be transferred to www.designerindya.com website and agents will be redirected to the Designer Indya website from the rezlive.com to book for Indian hotels,” concluded Shah.
